Juci was already following my work when she decided to have some portraits of her. She was open to my (Mariana) ideas of what, when, where and how to be photographed.

We met in the entrance of the calm Aarhus Botanical Gardens atmosphere. Being involved in this magical environment with all the exotic plants triggered me to be creative again.

Even though Juci is not a professional model, it was so easy to photograph her by giving directions and showing her how to pose.
